Project Development Seeking Opportunities

Junior League of Olympia is seeking proposals for our community projects for the League year of 2008-2009. We are looking for projects that meed our
MISSION: The Junior League of Olympia is an Organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Our VISION: The Junior League of Olympia is committed to developing healthy families through education,collaboration, and direct service.

Our FOCUS ARES: The prevention of child abuse and neglect.

We are looking for community projects for our 2008-09 league year, beginning June 1, 2008 and ending May 31, 2009. Viable projects must align with our mission, our vision and focus , and provide volunteer opportunities for our league members and guarantee that our members are volunteering in an mutually respectful environment. JLO is particularly seeking project proposals which demonstrate measurable results and the ability to be complete and/or self-sustaining in the future after JLO's involvement ends.
