2009 GIFT AND GARDEN EVENT FACTS

The seventeeth annual Junior League of Olympia Gift and Garden Event will bring the art of gardening to Thurston County. Enjoy beautifully landscaped gardens, fabulous flowers, blooming plants, garden products, garden art, speakers and ongoing activities for the entire family.

Fri. 10-6, Sat. 10-6 and Sun. 10-4

LOCATION: St. Martin's Pavilion
ATTENDANCE: over 4000

PROCEEDS: Proceeds from the Gift and Garden Event directly benefit Junior League of Olympia’s community programs and volunteer training efforts. JLO programs benefiting from Gift and Garden proceeds include Kids on the Block, a puppet performing troupe for children featuring topics on physical and mental differences and social issues, JLO Legacy Scholarship, a scholarship fund at SPSCC for children in the foster care program, Playground Project, a collaboration with the City of Olympia to build a playground in a transitional neighborhood, and our Community Assistance Fund which provides emergency grants to nonprofit organizations.
